Important information about our game development training programs and what you should know before enrolling

Understanding What We Offer

TopGamesMachine provides educational content focused on mobile social casino game UI design and development techniques. We're teachers, not career guarantors. Our courses aim to build your skills through practical learning, but your success depends heavily on your own effort, creativity, and market conditions beyond our control.

We don't promise you'll land a job at a major studio or start earning immediately after graduation. Some students do well. Others take longer to find their footing. That's just how creative industries work.

No Employment Guarantees

We teach design principles, technical workflows, and industry practices. What we can't do is guarantee you'll get hired anywhere. Job markets shift. Studios have their own hiring criteria. Geographic location matters.

Your portfolio quality, networking ability, and timing play huge roles in landing work. We'll help you build skills, but we can't control who's hiring or what they're looking for at any given moment.

  • Job placement depends on factors outside our control
  • Market demand for designers fluctuates significantly
  • Individual results vary based on effort and circumstances
  • We provide education, not employment contracts

Income Expectations Reality

Don't expect to finish our courses and immediately start earning big money. Some graduates find freelance gigs within months. Others take a year or more to build a sustainable income. Entry-level positions in game UI design typically pay modest salaries, especially in smaller studios or regional markets.

We've seen students land contracts ranging from small indie projects to positions at established companies. But we've also seen talented people struggle to find work because the timing wasn't right or the local market was saturated.

Learning Outcomes Vary

Everyone comes to our courses with different backgrounds. Someone with graphic design experience will pick up concepts faster than a complete beginner. That's normal. We structure our autumn 2025 programs to accommodate various skill levels, but your starting point affects your trajectory.

You might breeze through some modules and struggle with others. The pace isn't uniform because game UI design combines artistic sensibility with technical implementation. Some students excel at visual composition but find coding challenging. Others have the opposite experience.

Industry Standards Disclaimer

We teach current practices based on our experience and research. But game development moves fast. Tools get updated. Design trends shift. What works now might look dated in eighteen months.

Studios have their own pipelines and preferences. What we teach represents solid fundamentals and common workflows, but you'll need to adapt to whatever tools and processes your future employers or clients use. Consider our courses as foundation building, not the final word on everything.

Technical Requirements Notice

Our courses assume you have access to a decent computer and stable internet connection. Some software we recommend costs money. We'll suggest free alternatives when possible, but professional tools often require subscriptions or one-time purchases.

If your computer struggles with design software or your internet connection drops frequently, you'll have a harder time completing assignments. We can't provide hardware or fix connectivity issues on your end.

Course Content Updates

We update our curriculum regularly, but we can't instantly reflect every industry change. Sometimes we'll reference tools or techniques that evolve between when we record lessons and when you take the course.

Our winter 2026 programs will incorporate feedback from earlier cohorts and industry developments through late 2025. But expect some variance between course materials and the absolute cutting edge of game UI design practices.

Portfolio Development Reality

Building a professional portfolio takes time and iteration. The projects you complete during our courses provide starting points, but most students need to create additional work on their own to compete for positions.

We'll critique your work and suggest improvements. What we won't do is guarantee that your portfolio will impress every hiring manager or client. Different people value different things. One person's favorite design might leave another completely cold.

Refund Policy Clarification

Check our specific refund terms before enrolling. Generally, we offer limited refund windows because we grant immediate access to course materials. Once you've watched significant portions of content or submitted multiple assignments, refunds become complicated.

We're reasonable about genuine issues, but buyer's remorse after completing half a course isn't grounds for a full refund. Read the enrollment agreement carefully before paying.

What We Actually Promise

We'll provide structured learning materials, practical assignments, and instructor feedback. You'll get exposure to industry-standard workflows and design principles used in mobile social casino game development.

Beyond that, your success depends on you. Put in the hours. Practice consistently. Seek feedback. Build projects outside of assignments. Network with other students and professionals. That's what separates people who succeed from those who don't.
